Knowledge and skills for successful business

Project "Knowledge and skills for successful business" aims at creating sustainable job opportunities via supporting entrepreneurship and reducing youth unemployment by implementing the following activities: 1. Informing of the opportunities and encouraging entrepreneurial mindset and the development of private business of people from the following target groups: inactive non-educated people aged up to 29 years; unemployed with secondary or higher education- aged up to 29 years; unemployed, inactive or working over 29 years, by conducting information campaign and 10 motivational meetings. 2. Providing training in entrepreneurial, managerial and business skills. 90 participants, divided into 10 groups, will take part in a training program (duration 9 days/ 11 modules), combining theoretical knowledge, practical tasks and individual work, allowing the participants to get acquainted with the terms, concepts and main methodologies for the development of start-up businesses and to create strategic and operational plan that can be implemented and lead them to the start of a sustainable business venture. Successful graduates of the training program will receive a certificate and will have individual mentoring programs. 3. Providing advice and mentoring in order to prepare the successful graduates for their own business. Supporting their access to networks and funding programs for start-up entrepreneurs, including OPHRD. We will provide a total of 750 hours of group and individual mentoring sessions. As a result, we expect at least 30 new registered entrepreneurial initiatives that will bring at least 30 self-employed people in the labor market. All who participated in the training will have received new knowledge and skills, which in the future will improve their chances at the labor market. They will be integrated and motivated to seek for job opportunities. In the future these skills and knowledge can be upgraded in subsequent training and counseling.
