B.O.S.S. - Business Owner Success Stories

The vision of project "B.O.S.S. – Business Owner Success Stories" is to stimulate entrepreneurial activity and self-employment, create successful companies and new jobs. The overall objective of the project proposal is to increase self-employment in the South-West Region by implementing activities related to information, motivation, education/training and consulting regarding entrepreneurship so as to create new entrepreneurs from the target group of the unemployed and inactive people. The activities to be implemented in the project are: - Activity 1. Informing the target groups on the project opportunities and motivating them for launching their own business or self-employment ventures; - Activity 2. Educating and training to provide knowledge and skills to start independent business activities; - Activity 3. Providing consultancy services for the preparation of independent business activities and supporting activities. The general and specific indicators that are expected to be achieved include: - Reached unemployed and inactive individuals in the project: minimum 350 - Self-employed on leaving the operation: at least 60 - Informed and motivated individuals within Activity 1: between 350 and 400 - Individuals from the target group awarded a certificate within Activity 2: between 255 and 350 - Individuals from the target group who have successfully passed the consultation cycle: minimum 200 The measures to achieve those results include the use of international project management standards, optimal use of candidate and partner capacity, motivated team, building on existing partnership experience and reaching the target groups, involvement of additional lecturers where necessary, assistance in registering independent business activities, etc.
