"Start toward success"

The Bulgarian Branch Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industry (BBCWFI) is a non-profit association whose goals are aimed at supporting and fostering the entrepreneurial spirit and skills of the stakeholders in the field through enhancing their qualification. Throughout the years the BBCWFI has financed various seminars and trainings for successful development of enterprises in the field. Project ideas for social support for persons willing to start their own business are enshrined in the association’s development strategy plan. The main goal of the “Start toward Success” project proposal is to prepare unemployed, inactive or employed persons, including young people aged 29 or younger, willing to start their own business activity. In order to achieve this aim the following activities are envisaged in the project: selection of 34 unemployed and inactive persons and 14 employed persons and young people aged 29 or younger willing to develop their own entrepreneurial activity; the persons will be selected, afterwards will be included in vocational training for part of profession “Associate in Small and Medium Business”, II level and code according to Bulgarian vocational training legislation 345050, “Small and Medium Business”, code 3450501 and professional strand “Administration and Management”, and will be consulted on development of individual business ideas and business plans, business management, successful application for funding from different financial sources, including financial instruments under the HRD OP, and legal consultations on preparation of documentation for registration of a business activity. As a result, the project will contribute to the improvement of access to self-employment, entrepreneurship and to the creation of innovative micro, small and medium enterprises in Bulgaria.
