The current project proposal aims at providing support to unemployed and inactive persons, as well as employed youths up to 29 years old to start their own business the field of ITC. Thus, the project proposal will help to be solved one of the main problems in the workforce - labor market relationship in the ICT sector, namely the Brain Drain and the invasion of large software and outsourcing companies in Bulgaria. Starting their own business from young professionals in ICT sector is currently limited by different factors - uncertainty in starting their own business and a lack of knowledge and skills to start a business on one hand, and the good working conditions offered by the large software companies on other. With the realization of this project this discrepancy will be overcome as 120 people from the Southwestern Region (identified as the area with the highest potential rate for ICT development) will be supported through providing the necessary practical knowledge and skills, as well as the guidance to start their own business in the ICT sector. At the end of the project they will have the necessary professional, business and personal skills to launch their own business. The Project proposal activities are entirely eligible and consistent with the current procedure for granting financial aid and each activity is consistent with and contributes to be achieved one of the project three specific objectives. The project implementation will create objective prerequisites for the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in ICT sector in the Southwestern Region.
