Active support to entrepreneurship development in the Southwest region

This project has as a main objective to promote the development of entrepreneurship and to provide comprehensive support for training of persons wishing to develop their own business, incl. unemployed / inactive and working ones, in the perspective to plan and successfully start their own business. The project structure is focused on the major challenges that the target group is facing with regard to economic activity. It directs efforts to promote self-employment and entrepreneurship among 100 unemployed, inactive people and employees, including young people up to 29 years – within the territory of all five areas of the Southwest region. A complex set of activities is with a view to informing, motivating, training and supporting the new entrepreneurs and start-ups, including: organization of events to raise awareness and promote the entrepreneurial spirit and attitude; specialized interactive trainings on building appropriate managerial and business skills, as well as consulting and support activities in relation to overall development of a viable business plan and realization of real economic activity. Thus provide the necessary prerequisites for further successful implementation of the financial instruments for starting own business, laid under the OP HRD. In addition, the planned professional consulting services tailored to the individual needs of each covered person also contribute to stability and longer lifetime of the newly founded businesses. In this context, the project improves access to employment, facilitating the sustainable integration into the labor market and increasing the number of those included in the self-employment unemployed/inactive and employees, including unemployed youth from the Southwest region. It encourages entrepreneurship and the development of independent economic activity as a means of creating new jobs and sustainable economic growth.
