Business pre-accelerator of the North-East

The project is aimed at stimulating and supporting entrepreneurial activity and readiness for self- employment in the Northeast region, by informing at least 260 and motivating, counseling and supporting 200 unemployed, inactive and 60 employees who will create at least 60 self-employed. The project will mobilise the experience, expertise and influence of six partners - Business Agency Association, a "one-stop-shop" for supporting entrepreneurship and social innovations, the specialised in business-trainings CVT "Excellia", the unification of 29 youth NGO's of Varna Association "Varna European Youth Capital" and the innovation centres and startup hubs - Association "Varna co-working space" and the "Bulgarian Business Forums", Varna Municipality, as a centre of the Northeast region and a catalyst for entrepreneurial activity in order to be effectively targeted to promising and innovative areas in synergy with regional strategies and initiatives in line with other local initiatives. The Project aims for 14 months in Varna, Shumen, Dobrich and Silistra regions to promote self-employment in the region as an opportunity for sustainable integration in the labor market for the unemployed, especially young people, in particular those who are not engaged in employment, education or training, including young people at risk of social exclusion and young people from marginalised communities. The experience of the partners in projects with socially sensitive groups and the active social program of Varna Municipality will be implemented for the extension of the target groups involved in activities and to attract participants from specific groups that start entrepreneurial activity more difficult and rarely such as women, young people, older people, people with disabilities, long-term unemployed. Attracted and supported will be also employees with experience and skills that have aptitude for business, especially from business areas with high innovative potential.
