Support for the creation of innovative entrepreneurs

The project addresses the problem of low level of entrepreneurship in Bulgaria while the country has serious potential in this sphere. Adequate supporting for its development will lead to a significant positive impact both on the rate of unemployment and economic growth. In response to the identified gaps in knowledge and skills of the target groups of the project for starting business are envisaged activities to provide complex of training and services as well as support for starting business and finding appropriate sources of funding, access to services and mentoring for business development. During the implementation the focus will be assessment of individual needs and adaptation of the programs and consultancy services to them. In this regard, an essential element will be to create an individual plan to support the participants in the project, which will be updated during the implementation to meet the utmost needs of individuals. Special focus will be placed on the involvement in the activities of persons with higher education in the humanities, considering their potential for starting innovative enterprises. Furthermore, the implementation is provided in such a manner that ensures wide promotion of the project in as a result of which the applicant will establish sustainable relationships not only with representatives of the target groups but also with other organizations that play an important role in their development - business supporting organizations, universities and others. It is also envisaged to provide free access to all training materials so that persons who have not participated in the activities can benefit from those materials, which will lead to multiplication of results and a much larger number of persons will be covered by the project. Thus, representatives of the target groups will be prepared to apply for funding from the financial instrument "Micro credit risk-sharing", implemented with the financial support of OPHRD.
