The future of labour

Within the project, proposals will be developed to update the employment policy to meet labor market challenges, taking into account the rapid and large-scale processes of change and transformation of the labor organization on the one hand and the need to ensure socially responsible policies, on the other hand. In this context, the project envisages analyzing the identified new "forms of work", the factors that cause them and will generate them in the future, and identifying pilot sectors, where significant changes in the number of employees are expected. The analyzes should serve as a basis for developing new labor organization mechanisms that will ensure that the most significant deficits in terms of protecting workers' rights including those for the occupational safety and health at work, are successfully overcome in the future. In parallel, the existing legal framework will be analyzed and changes to the legal and regulatory acts will be proposed with a view of providing an adequate regulatory framework in the field of labor relations as a basis for developing labor productivity, improving the mechanisms for compliance with the labor law and protection of the fundamental rights of the workers and the employees in the new forms of work. On the basis of the analyzes carried out, it is envisaged to develop new models for industrial relations, corresponding to the new conditions and the new forms of work. Within the framework of the project, information and training events are foreseen to familiarize stakeholders and the general public with the new trends and the future of the labor market.
