Training for the employees in “Ognqnovo” hotel – Sole trader “Mirazh – Vili Kurtova” and the development of a digital and innovative educational system for the company with the sole purpose of employee skill development

The beneficiary is the owner of a hotel, with an activity code 55.10, which is a priority for this procedure. The site is built under the RDP with Contract № 01/311/00495 of 22.06.2012 and also meets the requirement for proved experience of the applicant for EU projects and programs. Given the fact of tourism development in the region, specifically in Garmen municipality, the candidate envisions to train and give professional skills and key competences in the hospitality field to all of the 20 people which have a labor contract. The goal is to create additional sustainability for the team through education and motivation in a dynamic environment, on the principle of Lifelong Learning and in line with the objectives of the HRD OP and specifically Specific Objective 3.1 of the FRS aiming to implement activities to prevent the dropping out of people of the labor market in the territory of the LAG. Professions that are the focus of the project activities are: (1) Profession 811020 Hospitality Administrator, Specialty 8110201 Hospitality Service Organization, 3 SPC. (2) Profession 811060 Restaurateur, Specialty 8110602 Production and Service in Catering and Entertainment, 3 SPC, Part of Occupation. It is also planned that all 20 persons will be able to take three-level English language course (KK 2). The necessity is been determined by the increasing number of foreign tourists in the hotel and the need to maintain normal communication. Innovation and stability of the project’s activities will be provided through the self-educational platform for the employed in the tourism field, which will solve key problems with the preparation, self-confidence and resilience of the company's staff, given the tendency of the last 20 years for the outflow of young people abroad due to economic considerations. A main problem of the employees in the sector is lack of qualifications, language skills and other key competences required in this field.
