Identification and activation of economically inactive young people from Maritza municipality

The main objective of the "Identification and activation of economically inactive younsters from Maritsa municipality" is the activating, the successful realization and integration in employment of youngsters from the “Maritsa” Municipality aged up to 29 years, who are currently not involved in education, training or employment, which means they are not even registered as unemployed at the Employment Agency. The specific objectives are: 1. Increasing the level of activity and competences in terms of successful labor realization: due to the activities included in the project 20 young people from the target group will acquire skills for active behavior on the labor market. On the basis of the their individual needs, they will be supported through consultations and training, encouraged to use different sources of information and they will initiate activities related to their personal and professional realization; 2. Extending their chances for realization on the labor market: the project will provide the chance for 10 young people to start a job for a period of 6 months which will have a direct impact on their income, they will also form work habits and will increase their motivation to be permanently employed. The main activities that will be implemented within the frames of the project will be as following: 1. Identification of 20 young people according to the target group criteria; 2. Providing a cycle of motivational training for the target group focused on increasing their active participation on the labor market; 3. Providing informational and consulting (juridical and psychological) intermediate services. 4. Ensuring employment for 6 months for 10 young people from the target group; 5. Informational campaign The project will be implemented for 24 months by “Maritsa” Municipality.
