Improving the access to employment and job quality at Chilling Ltd.

"Chiling" Ltd is active in the production of military clothing, that falls into Section C Manufacturing. In relation with its production program for the following years, the company aims to create new, sustainable jobs in Zlatograd. The project responds to the local needs, considering the high unemployment rate in the municipality of Zlatograd among the persons between the ages of 30 and 54 and over 55 and the existence of a social problem connected with the difficulties of finding job, especially among vulnerable groups. The overall objective of the project is to improve the competitiveness of the unemployed on the labor market and to create opportunities for employees to increase their knowledge and skills in order to better manage their work responsibilities and to ensure sustainable employment in the enterprise. Project target groups are: - Jobseeking unemployed over 54 years - 15 persons; - Jobseeking unemployed from 30 to 54 years - 18 persons, incl. 4 in vulnerable position with basic or lower education; - Employed persons in the applicant company with secondary or lower education - 7 persons, incl. 4 with basic education. The project focuses on representatives of the target groups with secondary and lower education, which, according to the latest data from April 2019, number almost 92% of the unemployed. The project envisages the following activities: training for acquiring key competences of the target groups (33 unemployed and 7 employed in the company persons ), as well as provision of employment in Chiling Ltd. for the trained 33 unemployed persons. The main expected project outcomes are related to increased number of unemployed persons aged 30-54 and persons in vulnerable position (unemployed over 54 and those with basic or lower education), who started a job , as well as increased number of employed with secondary or lower education who have acquired new knowledge and skills to deal more effectively with their job responsibilities.
