IMPROVING THE ADAPTIVENESS OF EMPLOYEES AND STRENGTHENING COLLECTIVE LABOR AGREEMENT THROUGH JOINT ACTIONS BY THE SOCIAL PARTNERS AT THE NATIONAL, SECTORAL AND BRANCH LEVEL

This project is implemented in implementation of Art. 6 of Regulation 1304/2013 and is a joint action of the social partners (trade unions and employers' organizations). This proposal was developed entirely within the target area "improving the social audit, social dialogue, improved working conditions and collective bargaining." The project responds to the labor market challenges posed by the development of economic processes and directly contributes to raising the skills and adaptability of the workforce, also reflecting the specific needs of target groups. The project has a national reach and addresses the problems of adaptability, flexibility and security of the employees in terms of needs and commitments in the field of collective bargaining, which contributes to flexibility and security in the implementation of policies that work simultaneously in the modern labor markets, improved organization of work and labor relations and modernization of social security and employment security. In shaping national policy in this area, CITUB actively supports the achievement of flexibility and security, which in this project is characterized by involvement of the social partners as well as taking into account specific national circumstances and needs in anticipating concrete, joint actions and proposals of social partners. Co-ordination of consultations on economic, social, environmental, labor and other issues by the project partners (CITUB, CEIB, BIA and BICA) and development of the scope and thematic content of collective agreements is a guarantee for the practical applicability of results to employers . The participation of the largest representative organizations of employers and employees in a joint project is also a guarantee of the sustainability of the results, as well as a high effect of multiplication of the achieved results.
