Skills of the Future - Qualification and competencies for the employees in the production of Master Plastik Ltd.

For 15 years Master Plastik has realized its economic activity in the production of aluminium and PVC joinery. The company successfully realize its production on the Bulgarian and recently on the European market with facilities in 10 major cities in the country, Greece and Serbia. The last successfully completed stage in the development of the company has led to the introduction of high-tech equipment. The long-term strategy of the company envisages increasing the competitiveness in the national and European markets on the basis of increasing its production capacity, reducing the cost of the main resources, optimizing the production processes and increasing the productivity of labor. With aim into the future, Master Plastik realizes the need of well-trained and highly qualified staff responding to the fast rate of technology development in the industry. In this regard, the management of the company has taken on the difficult task of continuously and regularly conducting upgrading trainings of the growing staff. As a natural continuation of this policy, the present project proposal is formed with the main objective: Increasing the professional skills and acquiring key competencies of the employed in the company with the inclusion of inactive/unemployed persons up to 29 years and those from 30 to 54 years in the training and employment processes. Implementation of the planned activities for: 1. Providing training to increase the professional qualification of employed and inactive/unemployed persons; 2. Training on Key Competency 2 and 3. Inclusion in non-subsidized employment of min.50% of successfully trained inactive/unemployed persons, will contribute to the fulfilment of the objectives of the procedure for sustainable employment through lifelong learning and the acquisition of business-related qualifications/skills that will create the necessary prerequisites for achieving a competitive and developing economy based on knowledge and technology development.
