Improving the Skills of Ves Trade Employees

Ves Trade has started its activity in 2011 as a company registered under the Commerce Act. Its main activity is classified in Sector I, code 56.10 „Restaurants and mobile food service activities” according to the Classification of economic activities 2008. Presently the company operates “Happy Bar and Grill” restaurant, located at „Georgi. S. Rakovski” Str. in Sofia and provides sustainable jobs to 93 employees. A key precondition for the high results attained since the establishment of the enterprise is considered to be the policy for continuous investment in its main resource – the employees who stand behind the success of the trade mark and the high quality of services provided. At the present stage of its development, the company is oriented towards further investments in its human resources through improving their professional qualification and provision of opportunities for personal and career development within the company. To achieve this goal, with the implementation of the project proposed, we plan to perform the following activities: 1/ Provision of vocational trainings for Ves Trade employees for attaining professional qualification under the profession “Cook” – 8 employees, profession “Waiter” - 22-employees and the profession “Worker in restaurants and entertainment establishments” - 5 employees. 2/ Provision of a training for acquiring Key competence 7 “Sense of initiative and entrepreneurship” to other 3 employees performing managerial functions in the company. 3/ Provision of an opportunity for flexible forms of employment – part-time work for the employees for the period of their trainings under the project. These activities will provide for achieving the project basic goal aimed at increasing the professional qualification of Ves Trade employees through participation in vocational trainings, training in key competence and further provision of sustainable jobs as a precondition for their personal and professional development.
