ADAPTING THE SKILLS OF MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AND HEALTHCARE WORKERS THOUGH LIFELONG LEARNING IN LINE WITH THE DEVELOPMENT OF MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIES AND THERAPEUTIC PRACTICES

The Candidate is UMBAL"MEDIKA RUSE". General objective of the project. Continuous improving of the professional skills of medical specialists and healthcare workers through stimulating lifelong learning. Specific objectives: 1. Updating the skills of 264 medical specialists at UMBAL"MEDIKA RUSE" through specific trainings in line with modern medical technologies and therapeutic practices; 2. Acquiring new vocational qualifications of 60 healthcare workers, relevant to their individual characteristics, employer’s requirements to the specific jobs, which they occupy and the company development strategy of UMBAL"MEDIKA RUSE"; 3. Improving the competences of 60 healthcare workers – project beneficiaries through digital competence training. Target group: Totally 416 medical specialists and healthcare workers at UMBAL"MEDIKA RUSE"; Specific beneficiaries: 264 medical specialists /doctors, nurses, midwifes, paramedics, kinesiology therapists, medical and radiologic technologists/ and 60 healthcare workers /technical secretaries of the wards and caretakers/; Main activities: Specific training of 264 medical specialist for improving their skills to apply high medical technologies and modern therapeutic practices, according to their individual needs for professional development and the health facility development strategy; Vocational training of 60 healthcare workers for acquiring new professions /healthcare assistant and paramedic/, related to their individual characteristics, employer’s requirements and the health facility development perspectives; Digital competence training of 60 beneficiaries-healthcare workers; Expected results: Increased skills adequacy of the beneficiaries of UMBAL"MEDIKA RUSE" towards the quality of their jobs and the health facility development perspectives – a condition for sustainable employment.
