New skills for the workers of "Delena DD" EOOD

"Delena" was established in 1991 and works in manufacturing and trade with sport, casual and work clothing, which are exported or sold in their own outlet stores. "Delena" have their own manufacturing, trade and storage premises of more than 15 000 sq. m. In the factories of the company in Haskovo, Elhovo and Lyubimets more than 220 people are employed. "Delena" has invested in modern equipment which is used for the manufacturing of extremely diverse and complicated products. Within the project a total of 160 employees of Delena DD are going to attend the following training: - vocational training (VT) "Operator in clothing manufacturing", specialization "Textile Clothes Manufacturing", code 5420501, second level (107 people); - VT "Electrical technician", specialization "Electrical Installations", code 5220109 , third level (7 people); - VT "Office manager", specialization "Business administration", code 3460101 , third level (15 people) and - Key competence training in English for the 30 people from the manufacturing for whom a training need is identified. A careful selection of the people in the target group was done to make sure that their needs for competence improvement are addressed as well as the requirements in the Guidelines for Applicants are satisfied. A final selection will be done after the signing of an contract. At the moment the employees occupy various jobs at the company and the overall objective is for them to improve their knowledge and skills, achieve a single standard in professional qualification which is going to help them to develop in their careers and work on quality jobs. The training courses will be done by suppliers which are going to be selected in compliance with the Law on EU Funds and the other applicable documentation. The organization is going to implement the activities related to information and publicity and project organization and management.
