Development of skills and professional growth of staff at Eurospeed LTD

Eurospeed Ltd is one of the largest Bulgarian companies for international and domestic transport with 25 years experience in forwarding of full loads, groupage shipments and dangerous cargo. The company has the latest 150 cargo compositions with the highest ecological standard and has its own Logistics Center located on an area of 26,000 m2 with direct access to the railway. More than 200 employees of the company take care of fast, secure and affordable transport services, reinforcing the Eurospeed traditions and its well-established partner network of companies in Bulgaria, UK, Italy, Belgium, Holland, Germany and France as a reliable transport service provider throughout Europe. The company continuously reported growth, both in terms of orders and turnover, and in terms of expanding staff. This, in turn, obliges management to follow strict policy of updating, upgrading and learning new knowledge and skills for its employees, responding to the solid international positions gained and the developed corporate culture. The team at Eurospeed is motivated to use the latest developments in information technology for training and professional growth, taking into account the increasing demands on quality of service in different aspects. With the implementation of this project proposal, it will be provided an excellent opportunity for subsidized training in professional qualification and language competence of a total of 201 employees of the company, 88% of whom with a low level of education. At the same time, 6 inactive/unemployed persons will be provided with employment with input training. The completion of the project will contribute to the acquisition of adequate knowledge and skills of employees with real engagement and professional integration, will increase the ability to meet the rapid changes in the labor market such as technological modernization and globalization, will ensure equal access to lifelong learning, which meets the objectives of the procedure.
