Increasing the qualification of the labor force, according to the employer's needs in Orbis Group BG Ltd.

The project was developed in order to satisfy the need for specific strictly profiled knowledge and practical skills for the team of "Orbis Group BG" Ltd. The company works in the field of information technologies and has a code of basic economic activity 62.01 "Computer programming". The difference between the theoretical knowledge and the practical skills of the workforce in the IT field is a main problem for the company. In recent years analyzes of the labor market in the software development niche indicate a distinction between the education and the skills that the business needs. The real expertise is provided by people without adequate education and those who have received it, often do not possess the skills required in a real working process. Universities do not produce the specialists that companies need. They offer obsolete theories, and business is looking for people with practical skills. The implementation of the project will allow both specific training, not covered by the education system, and regulated professional and language courses to improve the skills of the workforce. Target group: 15 employees. Aims of the project: to improve the skills of the persons in the target group, according to the needs of Orbis Group BG Ltd. Expected results: Satisfaction for the employer by providing a team with specific profiled training; increased job stability, increased quality of the delivered IT products, increased competitiveness. Activities: 1. Conduct specific training for development, installation, setup and maintenance of communication software. 2 Conducting trainings for acquisition and improvement of professional qualification. 3. Conducting foreign language courses. 4. Applying flexible forms of employment for the period of training.
