Sustainable professional development

The sustainable development of the modern economy is increasingly dependent on the quality of human capital. It is no coincidence that lifelong learning and the creation of a competitive knowledge-based economy are at the heart of the Lisbon Strategy adopted in 2000. Human capital is a factor that has a strong impact on labor productivity and the competitiveness of economic operators, but its impact is most important to business entities providing different market services and products. The main objective of the project “Sustainable Professional Development” is to increase the professional qualification and adaptability of the employees of "Bambua" Ltd. in the direction of adapting to the contemporary changing requirements by conducting trainings for acquisition of professional qualification and development of key competencies hence providing more efficient staff management and, accordingly, providing better quality service. The project target group consists of 80 persons who have an employment contract with the beneficiary company at the date of application, of which over 50% do not have an education higher than average and / or are over 54 years of age. They will be included in training to acquire professional qualifications and Key Competence. In the learning process, the target group is expected to acquire and develop certain professional, motivational and key competencies that are needed to improve their employability. This will ensure that the quality of the workforce is improved according to the needs of the employer and will help to build a sustainable economy based on the continuous development and upgrading of knowledge, skills and competencies.
