Skills for Mezari EOOD

"Mezari" EOOD was established in 2009 in Rousse as a manufacturer and distributor of socks. The company is successful in providing a large variety of products at reasonable prices. The production is sold on the national market and also exported. The company continuously invests in new technologies (including design software and new knitting machines), improvement of staff competencies and better working conditions. Within the project a total of 28 people employed at "Mezari" EOOD are going to attend the following training courses: - 20 people to attend vocational training in profession "Operator in textile manufacturing", code 542030, specialization in "Knitted products manufacturing", code 5420303, second level of professional qualification; - 11 people to attend key competence training in English language (three of these are going to attend the vocational training as well and additional 8 people for whom a training need was identified). A careful selection of the people in the target group was done to make sure that their needs for competence improvement are addressed as well as the requirements in the Guidelines for Applicants are satisfied. A final selection will be done after the signing of an administrative contract. At the moment the employees occupy various jobs at the company and the overall objective is for them to improve their knowledge and skills, achieve a single standard in professional qualification which is going to help the employees to develop in their careers and work on quality jobs. The training courses will be done by external suppliers which are going to be selected in compliance with the Law on EU Funds and the other applicable scheme documentation. The organization is going to implement the mandatory activities related to information and publicity and project organization and management.
