“Skills of the Future” through specific training sessions aimed at innovative products and solutions

VMware Bulgaria (the Company) is one of the leaders in the development of innovative IT products worldwide. The specific nature of the Company's activity as a regional development center requires maintaining a high level of expertise and skills in the IT area. The aim of the “Skills of the Future” through specific training sessions for innovative products and solutions” is to carry out specialized, specific trainings for acquiring high-class competencies at selected jobs, as well as training of inactive people up to 29 years of age, incl. In this respect, the trainings for upgrading the competences and skills, the mastery of new technologies and their development is key to the company's business and competitiveness. As concrete measures for achieving these objectives, the project envisages the following activities: - Specific trainings of 130 company employees who have specific job positions in the teams involved in developing the latest versions of one of the leading innovative products in the Company's portfolio - Specific trainings for 21 inactive persons up to 29 years of age, and - Inclusion in non-subsidized employment of 11 inactive people after successfully completing the training program The objectives and activities set forth fully meet the needs of VMware Bulgaria and the Company employees to increase the level of knowledge and skills of key-area specialists responsible for developing state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions of the company in work-specific trainings. The newly employed inactive people will be socially engaged and acquire practical skills and career development opportunities. The implementation of such activities will lead to the possibility of sustainable employment and professional growth, enhancing the practical skills in line with the high requirements in the Company and the IT sector as a whole, acquiring skills for "lifelong learning".
