Ensuring sustainable employment through specialized trainings in the manufacturing sector

ITW Appliance Components EOOD has been present on the Bulgarian market for more than 15 years and is one of the established leaders in the production of electronic and electromechanical modules for household appliances. Objectives The main objective of the "Ensuring sustainable employment through specialized trainings in the manufacturing sector" project is to carry out specialized, specific trainings for acquiring competencies in selected jobs with a view to increasing the qualification of the personnel, thus achieving sustainable employment in the processing plant. The target group consists of 155 current employees holding specific job positions and having the established need to enhance their skills in the manufacturing processes of ITW Appliance Components EOOD. As concrete measures to achieve the stated objectives, the project envisages the following activities: - Specific training of 120 company employees holding specific job positions, i.e., those assembling parts and machine operators, through internal personnel; - Specific training of 35 company employees holding specific positions, such as Production Manager, Logistics Specialist, Finance Specialist, Supply Specialist, Product Engineer, Quality Officer, Plastic Casting Manager, Technical Director and Support Engineer via an external contractor. The activities will be implemented in applying best practices for selecting trainers and content of the training programs acquired with the experience in implementing the diversity of internal projects and projects funded by ESIF. The goals and activities set forth fully meet the identified need to raise the level of knowledge and skills of the specialists holding specific jobs in the production of electronic and electromechanical components. They are expected to apply modern forms of work and quality management, not only in the narrow sense of product quality, but also, in the quality of the whole process of production, management and organization.
