More Competitive via New Knowledge and Skills

The project proposal aims at enhancing the professional qualification and linguistic knowledge of the employees of Araldica Bulgaria and Medical Center, by conducting vocational training and training in KC 2 "Communication in foreign languages". Those enhancements will improve the competitiveness of the company and create opportunities for the trained individuals to cope more easily with the changes in the labor market caused by the globalization processes. In addition, Medical Center staff will also undergo specific training to investigate the specifics of their activities. The empowering the career development of the employees of both companies will contribute to improving the quality of the offered tourism product and meeting the needs of the hotel guests in Therma Vitta Ognyanovo. This will be achieved through: - better guest-service and overall communication - knowledge of professional behavior standards - up-sells of additional products and services that provide complete relaxation - promotion of alternative tourism types and recreational methods. The hotel is located in the village of Ognyanovo, near the town of Gotse Delchev and is popular because of the numerous mineral springs on the territory of the resort. This is one of the factors that turned tourism into a key sector for the region, but its diversity is often underestimated due to the insufficient awareness of the tourists about all the possibilities for recreation offered nearby. Enhancing the professional and linguistic knowledge of hotel staff will have a positive impact on economic growth in the region due to the increased satisfaction of tourists from their holiday and the variety of forms of entertainment and high-quality service offered in the region. Better employee competence will ensure sustainability of their employment and income, especially those with secondary and lower education, and those over 54 years of age, which represent the majority of employees in both companies.
