Achieving competitive economy and promoting career development through lifelong learning at Ernst and Young Bulgaria EOOD

Ernst and Young Bulgaria EOOD provides services in the field of tax and financial consultations and transactions. The main priority for the Company is the quality of the services provided and the parallel pursuit of encouraging the professional development of the employees. The specific nature of the activity, namely, providing advice on tax, law, accounting and transactions to international clients, implies that the largest resource of the Company is the people. The variety of positions and areas of activity of each of them implies the possession of specific knowledge and skills in order to be able to provide services of a particularly specific nature for Bulgaria with the necessary high quality. Thus, the common objective of the project proposal is to increase the qualifications of employees by acquiring and developing specific knowledge and skills in the field of tax consulting, understanding financial statements and international accounting standards necessary to fulfill their professional obligations. As concrete measures to achieve the stated objectives, the project envisages the following activities: • Conducting specific trainings for acquiring knowledge in the field of IFRS for 38 employees • Specific "Finance for non-financial professionals" training for 5 employees • Specific training aimed at understanding international accounting standards for 5 employees • Specific training on understanding the audit procedures and tax aspects (TARAS) for 10 Employees • Specific training on finance aimed at non-financial professionals, financial management or understanding of the international accounting standards for 27 employees The activities set forth will meet the identified needs of the specialists who are tax consultants to raise the level of knowledge and skills. The latter will find expression in the quality of the professional services provided in accordance with the international standards on the basis of which the Company operates.
