Access to employment for people seeking a job, inactive and permanently unemployed people in Balchik Municipality

The project of Balchik Municipality "Access to employment for job-seekers, inactive and permanently unemployed people in Balchik Municipality" is related to identifying people from highly vulnerable groups on the employment market: long-term unemployed, people over 54, people with permanent disabilities, unemployed / inactive people with low education incl. and without any occupation, unemployed / inactive people of Roma origin. For this purpose, the project team, assisted by the youth mediator in Balchik Municipality, will contact people from the target groups and will conduct group or individual consultations on the necessity of them receiving training for entering the workforce. The youth mediator will conduct a motivation training aiming at acquiring skills related to preparation of documents for job application, usage of different information sources for job vacancies and successful presentation before an employer. Twenty two of the twenty-five that pass the motivation training will be directed towards training for the professions “Worker in Landscaping” and “Assistant Road Builder”. The training for a professional qualification will be conducted by a Center for professional education, licensed by the National Agency for Vocational Education and Training. Balchik Municipality will choose a training agency as stated in the Public procurement law. The ones who have successfully completed the training for acquiring professional qualification will receive the MES Model 3-54 Vocational Qualification Certificate. Twenty two new work places are to be created in Balchik Municipality for people from highly vulnerable groups. The employment and insurance relations of the people employed under the project are to be conducted under the conditions of the Bulgarian labor and social security legislation. The duration of subsidized employment is 12 months.
