Local Employment Initiatives in Strazhitsa Municipality

According to data of the Labor Office Directorate, Gorna Oryahovitsa, the unemployment rate in Strazhitsa municipality was 16.5% at 30.04.2019, ie more than twice the average for the country and the highest in the region of Veliko Tarnovo. In view of the high level of unemployment in the municipality and the high number of people with low education, the municipality provides for the current project proposal to include 24 unemployed persons, with a low level of education and without qualification, in training to acquire professional qualification for a part of a profession, then to employ and provide employment to 18 of them.Through the implementation of the project on the one hand will be provided employment of part of the unemployed in the municipality and on the other hand will be supported the activity of the municipal administration in activities for maintenance of municipal buildings and their surrounding spaces and in the activity of the municipality The project is in compliance with Priority 3 "Development of human resources" of the Municipal Development Plan 2014-2020. and with Strategic Objective 2 "Social Security, Equality and Prospects", Priority Area 1: "Investments for Growth and Employment" from the Development Strategy of V.Tarnovo District for the period 2014-2020. The project is in pursuance of Objective 2 "Promoting social inclusion in the LAG territory, improving the quality of education and raising the skills of the population, including promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labor force mobility" of the Community-led Strategy local development of the Local Action Group "Lyaskovets - Strazhitsa".
