Providing safe and healthy working conditions at YNIGAZ - VT Ltd.

In summary, the project aims to upgrade and improve the quality of the work environment at Unigaz - VT Ltd., by ensuring good and safe working conditions. The objectives of the project and its activities are responding to clearly identified needs for improving working conditions in the workplace and increasing work efficiency, including creating opportunities for sustainable employment of older workers. It is envisaged to implement the following main activities within the project: 1. Providing safe and healthy working conditions by supplying and installing a console system to improve the microclimate; 2. Purchase of PPE and special workwear; 3. Information and publicity; 4. Organization and management of the project; Due to the nature of the work processes in the company and in particular the workplaces in the units: Warehousing, Assembly, Assembling, Maintenance, there is a need for modernization of the collective protection and personal protective equipment for the workers in order to guarantee their health and safety. At present, a major part of the work responsibilities of the employees of these production units are performed on an open work area. For this reason, they are under the constant influence of external climatic conditions, which is often the reason for stopping the work process. The working environment in place definitely reduces the occupational and health status of workers in this part of the production process, which is also a reason for lowering its effectiveness. Expectations through the project are to improve the quality of the target jobs and to achieve a positive impact on the productivity of the company. The target group of the project is 15 of the 30 employees of Uniongaz - VT Ltd., working in the production units: Warehousing, Assembly, Assembling, Maintenance. The target group includes 3 persons over 54 years of age.
