"Chitalishta s badeshte"- Access to employment for jobseekers and inactive persons, the long-term unemployed and those remote from the labor market through local employment initiatives in small settlements

The envisaged activities of the project are aimed at persons from vulnerable population groups / people with low education; of minorities; Disabled; economically inactive persons, outside education and training, incl. discouraged persons; job seekers who are disadvantaged on the labor market aged 30-54 and over 54 years. Motivation training will be provided, followed by a 12-month employment of 10 persons - 5 as a cleaner / hygienist and 5 landslists. The same persons will be involved in the maintenance of the community chitalishte and the adjacent public places. The territory of the Tundzha LAG, which coincides with the territorial scope of Tundzha municipality, includes 44 settlements, and in 40 of them the activities of local community centers are being developed. The Community centers have established their authority among the local communities in preserving the Bulgarian traditions, culture and values. In a large part of the Community centres the secretary is also a librarian, along with the community centers activity, which also carries out cleaning of the community centers buildings. The employment of 10 persons will help to maintain the large spaces in the community centers buildings and their adjacent places; the appearance of the local community centers will be improved in order to be a more welcoming place for the people from the small settlements on the territory of the Tundzha LAG. The activities of the project are aimed at providing integrated services for active social inclusion - the identified persons will be supported and motivated to enter the labor market and their employment will improve the quality of life, will help to reduce the risk of long-term isolation from the labor market and the social isolation in which they fall as a vulnerable group. Involving target group members in the project will help them participate in social life, social inclusion and will contribute to changing the attitudes of local communities towards them.
