Providing hourly care for children of the employees in the municipality of Topolovgrad

This project proposal is aimed at providing hourly care for the children of employees in the municipality of Topolovgrad. The implementation of this project will ensure better reconciliation of family and professional life of employed parents in the municipality and will increase the level of their economic activity, while creating the necessary conditions for full care for their children while they work. The project will provide care for a minimum of 25 children under the age of 12 of the 21 employees employed in the municipality. Care will be provided by hiring unemployed people from the Labor Office Directorate. A selection of the unemployed persons registered in the Labor Office, who will be employed to perform the activity related to childcare. 4 educators, 1 hygienist and 1 full-time driver for 12 months will be engaged in order to provide all-day care for the children. Educators will be provided with the necessary training to acquire childcare skills. The training will be conducted only for newly hired persons who do not have an educational degree or professional qualification in the field of education, social services for children, health care or have not undergone training for child care. The children's corner will be created in the northeast wing on the second floor of a municipal building / former nursery, which has been provided for use under the project after a decision of the Municipal Council. The rooms in which the hourly care will be provided are of appropriate size and there are 2 separate rooms for different age groups. The required sanitary requirements are available. The premises have appropriate flooring and lighting. The windows and terraces are secure. In order to provide interesting and entertaining activities for children, small equipment, board games and appropriate literature for different age groups will be purchased.
