Establishment of a Child Care Center at the Municipality of Novi Pazar

This project is aimed at creating conditions for better reconciliation of professional and personal life of employees in Municipality of Novi Pazar, by establishment a child care center at the the workplace. The project is implemented by Municipality of Novi Pazar. The organization has experience in projects and activities on social issues. In this aspect, the goals and activities set in the project proposal express the consistency and resilience of the applicant in terms of social commitments to its residents. The focus of the project is focused on creating a child care center for the children of the employees of the Municipality who are under 12 years of age. This will ensure their full care by babysitters and closeness to the parents in the time when there is no opportunity for other people to take care of the kids. The project activities contribute to overcoming the problems of the target group of employed parents, which problems are related to frequent absences from work, excessive employment and lack of free time, etc. On the other hand, the project creates preconditions for employment of unemployed persons, thus providing prevention of poverty, marginalization and permanent elimination from the labor market. The applicant intends to achieve the main goal of the project through an approach based on 4 main components - adaptation and equipment of a suitable room for hourly care for children. (Activity 1), selection of unemployed persons registered in the Labor Office to determine their opportunities for inclusion in employment and / or training, (Activity 2) providing training to the unemployed who need it (Activity 3) and including the unemployed in subsidized employment (Activity 4). The project will be implemented for a period of 12 months and a budget of 118 736,10 leva. The implementation of the project is expected to achieve the objectives of this procedure.
