Development of digital skills

The project will be implemented by performing 9 activities-for elaborating, testing and validating unified digital skills profiles(UDSP) for key occupations/positions, sectoral qualification frameworks and training programs for acquiring digital skills (DS) in 13 pilot sectors of key importance for the Bulgarian economy.It aims at eliminating DS and knowledge disbalances, bringing them in line with the needs of the business and in this way-accelerating the digitalisation. This will be achieved by study for identifying the DS needs of the labor force in defined as key occupations/positions, testing their current DS through specially developed tools for assessment of digital competencies (DC) and preparing on this basis analysis of the disbalances, the state and the needs of DS at 3 levels-low, medium and high-for each key profession/position. On this basis, and applying the developed under the project "Development of DS-Comp.1 "Methodology(after respective adaptation) will be developed min. 65 UDSP. UDSP will be tested in min.100 enterprises and 520 employees to give ground for the development of 13 packages of test curricula for the development of DS. These curricula will be tested in a real working environment, in the control group of pilot companies. At the same time, surveys will be conducted among employees to identify the need for specific DS, which to be included in the curricula.13 sectoral qualification frameworks will be developed, as well as a microcredentials system and individual training accounts will be introduced. The results achieved will provide the basis for the preparation of social partnership models in the field of digitalisation. All activities and results achieved will be promoted among the enterprises from the 13 sectors within information campaigns. The project is of a pilot nature-its results will give the ground for the implementation of the planned activities under the new PHRD 2021-7 for the mass introduction of DS in Bulgaria.
