Joint actions of social partners to develop digital skills

The main objective of the project proposal is through joint actions of social partners to determine the specific levels of digital skills that employees need for their work, as well as to support their acquisition, in accordance with the evolving digital technologies in particular sectors of the Bulgarian economy. The target groups of the project are employees (employed and self-employed) and employers. The project proposal includes the implementation of nine interrelated activities: 1. Research and analysis of the needs for digital skills by economic sectors based on the developed methodology. 2. Development, testing and validation of unified profiles for digital skills in key positions and / or professions. 3. Testing the current skills of the workforce by sectors with developed tools for assessment of digital competencies. 4. Development of learning content / development of non-formal learning programs for the development of specific digital skills. 5. Pilot testing of training curriculum for the development of specific digital skills in key positions and / or professions. 6. Development and adoption of sectoral qualification frameworks for development of digital skills. Adaptation and update of the frameworks, if necessary. 7. Development of methodological guidelines for maintaining and upgrading the digital skills of employees in the sectors to ensure ongoing education. 8. Raising the awareness of employers and employees about the need to develop digital skills. 9. Development of models of social partnership and collective bargaining in enterprises. The activities will be implemented jointly by teams of the Candidate and the Partners (PODKREPA Confederation of Labour and MLSP). The expected results are the formation and improvement of specific professional digital skills of employees, as well as the adaptation of employers to the occurring changes from human resources management point of view.
