Support for Independent Living

General objective: The project aims to provide a range of social services to choose from for disabled people and elderly people aged over 65 in a family environment who are unable to self and have difficulty in organizing their daily activities and needs. It also aims to support the families of such people and help for the social inclusion by providing an alternative choice for active participation of the people in the target group in the labor market. The project proposal does not duplicate but complements the Help at Home and Alternatives projects. The Self-Sufficient Life project is aimed at disabled people who need palliative care and at people over 65 who are limited or unable to self. They will be provided full time or part time social services by professional social workers, nurses or unemployed people who have the necessary qualifications. This option will lay the basis for a competitive selection of staff which will improve the quality of the service. The project aims to show a good practice for complete support and it focuses on the social services quality for people in need. Activities: -Establishing a part -time social center for social services in a family environment. -Staff training -Providing a social assistants date base -Providing personal psychological support. -Counseling and supervision of the staff. -Providing emotional or any kind of support for the people in need according to their personal needs. This project will on one hand ,provide integral services to the people in the target group and o the other hand it will provide jobs for unemployed people at active age. It will also give the disabled people the opportunity to choose their own social assistant.
