Decrease of poverty and promotion of social inclusion – Municipality of Antonovo

The project presents an innovative practice for the municipality of Antonovo. The project aim is to improve the quality of life and the access to basic social and health services to disabled persons and people at the age over 65 years; to ensure long-term care and provide community-based services at home conditions; to support the social inclusion of disabled persons and facilitate their access to employment, and to create jobs for unemployed persons on the territory of Antonovo municipality. The project appears as further continuation of the “Help at home” operation and of the “New Alternatives” procedure. The project will be implemented in compliance with the horizontal principles of OP HRD and will ensure equal possibilities and gender equality in the process of target group formation and performance of the activities; the target groups will have complete access to the project information and a requirement will be set for carrying out measures aimed at the transfer to low-carbon, climate-changes sustainable, environmentally sustainable economy which makes efficient use of resources. The project includes the following target groups: 1-st target group 59 social service users, divided in 2 target groups as follows: 21 persons, who will have been provided a social service until 29.02.2016 within the project № 2014BG05M9OP001-2.2015.001-C0001 „New possibilities for care”; 38 new social-service users ; 2-nd target group 21 "personal assistants", who will have provided the social service until 29.02.2016 within the project №2014BG05M9OP001-2.2015.001-C0001 „New possibilities for care”; 18 "Social assistants ". The project will be implemented on the territory of Antonovo municipality, district of Targovishte. The project budget is 499 556.65 BGN The project duration is 25 months, but not later than 31.12.2017.
