Services for social inclusion and independent living in the Sadovo Municipality

One of the consequences of the changing socio-economic environment in Bulgaria is significantly decreases social status of people with disabilities and people over 65 in the inability for self-serving. Unemployment, structural changes in the economy and more increased the social exclusion of this group of people and in many cases reduced the capabilities of their relatives to make adequate care for them. These facts define the need of the Project "Services for social inclusion and independent living in the Sadovo Municipality" (hereinafter referred as the Project), which will be developed different type and scope of social services for the aimed target group to meet their specific needs. The project not only will strengthen the process of decentralizing service delivery "Personal Assistant", but will implement integrated and innovative social and health services and others, according to the needs of the target group: people with disabilities and people over 65 in the inability to self-serving in the Sadovo Mnicipality. At the Center for hourly service provision for social inclusion in the community or at home in village of Bolyartsi in terms of partnership, it will be used management capacity of the municipal administration and include local experts to identify and assess the needs of applicants for use services and provision of services themselves. The center will have experts with different profiles of competence - social, medical, health and other forms of vocational training, to ensure an integrated approach to the provision of services.
