Hope for a dignified life - in support of Unit "Mercy" with a view to provide innovative social services

The objective of the project proposal is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and people over 65 years old with a partial or complete inability to self-service in the settlement parts of municipality Slivo pole through tendance in a family environment through social servicies "Home helper", "Personal assistant" and "Social transport", created by a project in Unit "Mercy", scheme "Help at home", and creating conditions for effective enforce people`s rights to be independent and to be part of social community that will reduce the risk of dependence of institutional type care. The project will provide integrated social services like rehabilitation in customer`s home, psychological support for customers and personnel part of the project. The project is built on principles of continuity, consistency, coherence and partnership between institutions, transparency and public awareness of the policies pursued. Implementation of activities under this project will satisfy need of taking care of people with disabilities, with partial or complete lack of ability to work and people over 65 years old with partial or complete inability to self-service by support, professional care and attention in home and overcome their social isolation.
