"Improving access to basic social and health services in the municipality of Ardino to achieve independence and social integration of the elderly and people with disabilities"

This project is in response of necessity to improve the quality of life and access to services for social inclusion in accordance with complex needs, including health, people with disabilities and people over 65 years in the inability for self-service. Unfavorable demographic trend and employment in the municipality of Ardino associated with an aging population and high unemployment (28% in 2014), leading to increased need for care for the elderly and persons with disabilities. Through its implementation will complement and expand the operation "Help at Home" and realized the project "Centre for services at home" and other measures financed under OP HRD 2007-2013, and procedures "New Alternatives" funded OPHRD 2014-2020 . The provision of services will be carried out by the municipal enterprise "Centre for services at home"(Decision №97/09.05.2012/ Municipal Council of Ardino). The main activities consist of:  Providing access to integrated services, according to the specific needs of disadvantaged persons on the basis of an individual assessment by providing hourly service for social inclusion;  Staff training to provide services;  The psychological and motivational support and consultation to service users, according to their personality and service personnel;  Organization and Management activities;  Repair of the building and premises of "Centre for services at home", delivery of materials and supplies, providing specialized transport, information and publicity.
