Home Care Service Units in Straldzha Municipality 2

Support for the activities of the existing three Home Care Service units in the Straldzha Municipality and the villages of Voynika and Kamenetz within the campaign "Help at Home" for hourly service provision for social inclusion at home. At the time of application under this campaign, users from the following locations benefit from 17 services. In implementing the activity "Independent Living", users of other 3 settlements within the municipality shall also benefit. Only one settlement shall not be part of the activity – Village of Leyarovo as the results of the survey show that there are no users willing to benefit from the project services. General objective: To improve access to basic social and health services and to achieve independence and social integration of people with disabilities and their families, and people aged over 65, experiencing restrictions or inability to self-service by promoting the social economy in order to overcome the consequences of social exclusion and poverty, as well as to overcome the options for return to the real market of people who take care for their relatives with disabilities in Straldzha Municipality through the provision of social service "Independent Living". Project activities: 1. Organisation, management and monitoring of the project. 2. Organisation of selection of subcontractors and delivery of office equipment; materials and supplies to ensure the administration and provision of social services. 3. Organisation and implementation of activities to assess the needs of potential users, selecting and contracting with users. 4. Selecting and contracting with providers wishing to provide hourly services to social service units at home. 5. Training activities to enhance the competencies of unit staff. 6. Provision of hourly services at home. 7. Consulting direct hourly service suppliers, users and relatives and supervising case studies. 8. Promoting the project and the ESF objectives.
