INDEPENDENT LIFE AND HOPE FOR YOU

The project proposal is innovative in itself. The senior citizens and the people with disabilities will be guaranteed a choice of service and will be assisted in making decisions about the service which will best match their needs. The support will be targeted to facilitating access to health services as well as the development of social services in the community. The project proposal complies with the District strategy for development of the social services in district Vidin (2010-2015), also with the Municipality strategy.Conditions will be created for the improvement of the quality of life of people with disabilities, senior citizens and their social integration in the community. We will present alterative social services at their homes. We will advance the professional skills and motivation of the people working for the project through the organization of training for the provision of quality services and the set-up of new work places. The most vulnerable groups of people will be serviced as the provided social activities and services in municipality Bregovo will be improved. The main focus in the project proposal is the provision of social services in the form of care in a home environment by creating equal opportunities for the users.They will be given a chance to integrate.As a result from the implementation of the activities the quality of life of the elderly and the disabled will improve by creating conditions and support for effective exercise of their rights of independent life and social integration, while respecting their rights and consideration of their abilities and special needs. The people who will be included with priority are the ones who have used social services like personal assistant, social assistant and home assistant in Operative program „Human resources development”.With the project proposal we plan a renovation of two premises owned by the municipality which are located in the building of the Home care.
