The proposed project aim is improving the quality of life and creating conditions for overcoming social isolation and increasing access to services for social inclusion, including health conditions for at least 120 people with disabilities, including children with disabilities, and people over 65 with the impossibility of self-service of Karnobat Municipality, in order to overcome social exclusion and poverty. The provision of quality social services in the home environment is perceived not only as a mechanism for preventing serious risk of finding into specialized institutions, but also as creating of conditions for learning independent living skills, consistent with the physical, mental and social status of users and following their personal preferences and needs, including facilitating their access to health services. The project activities will support already established municipal structure - Unit for home services that will provide more integrated services for people with inability for selfservice and for people with disabilities, as this will combine complex actions to ensure the long-term care, incl. social and health services in the community and at home, services by hour in home environment. This will ensure efficiency of services and their compliance with the individual needs of users. Last but not least, will enable employment of unemployed people, quite often - family members involved in caring for disabled relatives, while enabling people with disabilities to choose the desired and necessary assistant which will create confidence environmental control. An additional effect of the project will be to provide opportunities for continuous development and upgrade working and employment potential of the staff of the unit to provide services in the home environment as well as through employment of 82 unemployed people and through training, consultancy and supervision for these individuals.
