"Improving the quality of life of vulnerable groups in the Municipality Knezha by providing comprehensive social services at domestic environment"

The project corresponds with the requiremenst of the Guidelines for applicants. The nature of this project is to expand the services which started with the establishment of the Unit for services in domestic environment by “Help at home” scheme. It includes providing comprehensive social services covering healthcare for disabled people and people over 65 years with inability of self-service. It helps creating worthy life for people in need and prevents their social exclusion. With this project, the quality of life of the target group will be improved by creating conditions for people to lead independent life and social engagement and minimizes the risk of depending on institutional care. The project corresponds with the goals of OPHRD and it’s aim is to improve the accsess to basic social and healthcare services and achieve social integration for the target groups. The projects also provides opening of workplaces for people in working age who will carry out the set of social services – Social assistant, Personal assistant and Healthcare consultant in domestic environment. The project aims to cover users of services of all settlements in the municipality of Knezha – the town of Knezha and the three villages – Brenitsa, Enitsa and Lazarovo.
