Establishment of unit "Center for home services" at Home Social Patronage - Blagoevgrad, for providing integrated social services for persons over working age and disadvantaged persons

The project proposal aims to improve the quality of life and access to social services for social inclusion of people with disabilities and people over the age of 65 who are unable to take care of themselves in order to overcome the consequences of social exclusion and poverty. Through the implementation of the planned project activities and the establishment of unit "Center for home services" at Home Social Patronage - Blagoevgrad, for providing hourly services for social inclusion in the community or at home will be supported and enriched the currently offered services and will be given the opportunity to choose from a range of integrated services meeting the maximum needs of the people. The open new jobs under the project will allow for the return on the real market of people who care for loved ones with disabilities. And as final result of the implementation of the activities the quality of life of elderly people and disabled people will improved by creating conditions and support for the effective exercise of their right to independent living and social inclusion, while respecting their rights, compliance with their capabilities and specific needs. In order to achieve the defined objectives and results, the project foresees the implementation of the following activities - Project Organization and Management; Assessment of the individual needs and social assessment in the beginning of the project and subsequent one - necessary for a reassessment of needs after March 2016.; Preparatory work for establishing of unit "Center for home services" at Home Social Patronage - Blagoevgrad; Creation of a team for unit "Center for home services" at Home Social Patronage - Blagoevgrad. Training of the team; Motivational and psychological support of the personnel providing social services and psychological support for the service users according to their individual needs; Information and publicity.
