,,Independent life in Kazanlak Municipality"

This project proposal aims to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and people over 65 years of age with inability to self-service from municipality Kazanlak by creating conditions for effectively exercising their rights for independence and social inclusion. Thus the project is in compliance with the objectives of this scheme and those of the Investment priority 3, Specific objective 1 of the Operational Programme "Human Resources Development ” 2014-2020. The project complies with the main objective of the Operational Programme "Human Resources Development" and contributes to improving the quality of life of people with disabilities and people over the age of 65 with inability to self-service. It will influence the opportunities for finding employment with increasing the diversity of the provided in the community social services, in accordance with the individual needs of those in need and the implementation of integrated approaches. The elderly and people with disabilities will have a guaranteed choice of services that meet their needs. The aim is the access to basic social and health services to be improved based on an individual assessment of needs for achieving independence and social integration of people with disabilities and people over 65 with inability for self-service. As a result of the project activities the quality of life of these vulnerable groups and their families will be improved. On the one hand, employment to unemployed people of working age will be provided, which will help for reducing the level of unemployment among vulnerable groups in the municipality of Kazanlak, on the other hand people with disabilities and people over 65 will br enable to choose their desired assistant . Moreover, the project will support and upgrade the activities of the Unit for Services in Home Environment to the Home Social Patronage in the city of Kazanlak.
