New opportunities for independent living for vulnerable groups in the municipality of Zavet

The project aims to provide people with disabilities, people over 65 with limited abilities or people who are unable to self-service, and their families in the municipality of Zavet, innovative and guaranteed choice of services as well as to assist them in making a decision on which is the service which best meets their needs. The activities included are aimed at facilitating access to health services and at developing social services in the community to promote social inclusion of people with disabilities and to facilitate access to employment. As a result of the implemented activities, the quality of life of older people and people with disabilities in the municipality Testament will improve through creation of conditions and support to the effective execution of their right for independent living and social inclusion, while respecting their rights, compliance with their possibilities and specific needs. This project aims to improve access to basic social and health services and to achieve independence and social integration of the elderly and people with disabilities in the municipality of Zavet. In light of the positive results achieved in previous projects, this projectcomplements, builds and expands the opportunities for improving the quality of life in the municipality of Zavet by promoting equal opportunities for vulnerable groups with different ethnic backgrounds, and expands the volume, diversity and targeting of social services provided in the community. Implementation of the project will provide integrated services for people with inability for self-service and for people with disabilities, will combine complex actions in ensuring sustainable long-term care. On the one hand this would provide employment to unemployed people of active age in the municipality of Zavet, the other will enable people with disabilities to choose services and will reassure environmental control.
