"Independent living for people with disabilities in the municipality of Krichim"

The project will be realized on the territory of the city of Krichim, municipality of Krichim. The current project aims to improve the quality of life and the access to services for social inclusion in response to the complex necesseties , including health care, of people with disabilities and people over 65 years old, incapable of overcoming the consequences of social exclusion and poverty by self – service. Creating a Unit for home assistance will start a new social service in the community, which will be added to the existing activities provided by the Daily Center for Elderly People in the city of Krichim. It will offer hourly, time-scheduled services for meeting the complex necesseties of 30 people with disabilities or over 65 y.o. It will also limit the incapability of self-servicing. The social services will be contracted and delivered depending on the personal needs and desires of the recipients, including approved time table and assistants. The personnel of the Unit will include hired and trained personal, social or house assistants, assigned depending on the specific needs and individual social assessment of the recipient.
