Establishment of a new Center for hourly provision of services for social inclusion in the community or at home in the municipality of Pernik

The project plans to create a new Center for hourly provision of service for social inclusion in the community or at home in the municipality of Pernik, which will provide complex and innovative services for social inclusion and health care corresponding with the needs and preferences of each user – people with disabilities and people over 65 in an inability for self living in the municipality of Pernik. The center will be situated in a building which is private municipal property and which will be renovated, furnished and equipped for the implementation of the project. A specialized vehicle will be purchased f for the provision of the services. 5 people will be employed through a procedure in the center to implement the overall administrative and technical activities; 105 persons - social assistants, personal assistants, domestic helpers; health assistants will be employed through a procedure to provide the services. The Mayor will appoint 4-member team to implement and manage the project. The project foresees activities related to organizing and securing the material resources, documents, training, measures for information and communication to be implemented, which will contribute and ensure the opportunity of long-term and high-quality services for improvement the lives of the elderly and persons with disabilities and effectively exercise their right of independent life and social inclusion, by respecting their rights, complying with their capabilities and specific needs.
