In the municipality of Kuklen there is a Home Social Patronage that also goes Unit for services at home. Through the Unit for services at home with this project will be possible to provide integrated services in the home environment of 30 persons, including persons with disabilities and people over 65. incapable of self-service. As it will combine complex steps towards providing long-term care, incl. social and health services at home. The complex of hourly services will be negotiated and provided, based on the individual needs of persons with disabilities as defined in individual social assessment, according to the desires of consumers on the type and timing of the respective hourly services on the one hand and on the other, choosing the persons who will provide services. Thus the opportunity that is given to people with disabilities to choose the desired and necessary assistant, will reassure environmental control. The additional effect of the realization of this project proposal would provide employment to unemployed people of working age. Implementation of the project will improve the quality of life of elderly and disabled people by creating conditions and support for the effective exercise of their right to independent living.
