Provision of integrated socio-health services in the municipality of Vratsa

The project meets identified needs in Municipality of Vratsa of integrated social services. Its overall objective is to improve the quality of life of people with disabilities and people over age of 65 in the inability for self that are at risk of social exclusion. The specific objectives are related to facilitating access of the target group to quality health and social services in the community at home and encouraging consumers to make independent decisions on organizing their everyday life. The project aims to increase the professional skills of employees at the Centre for hourly service provision for social inclusion in the community and in the home environment and reduce the risk of dependence on institutional type of care. Project activities related to providing access to integrated services, providing motivational, psychological or other support to service users. There are planned basic and advanced training, psychological support, counseling and supervision of personnel providing social services, development of methodology for the Centre activities, information and publicity, organization and project management. As a result, 195 people will have improved their quality of life by obtaining the support and provision of "Personal Assistant" and „Home assistant”. More than 70% of them will have improved access to other intersectoral services. Municipality of Vratsa as a provider of social services will create a multidisciplinary team of 139 professionals and will expand its business. Through the implementation of the project will raise awareness of the local community about the possibilities of the OP " Development of Human Resources " 2014-2020, to support social inclusion of people with disabilities.
