Social support for independent life in Municipility of Shabla

The overall project objective is to improve the quality of life and access of services to social inclusion in response to the complex needs, including health, of people with disabilities and people over 65 in the impossibility of self-service in order to overcome the consequences of social exclusion and poverty. To achieve this objective it is necessary the established "Unit to provide services at home" to "Home Care Service" Shabla, by Decision № 163 of 30.05.2012 of Municipal Council Shabla, under project "Equal opportunities for people from vulnerable groups in the municipality of Shabla", scheme "Help at Home", to continue its activities. To the already established Unit will be appointed staff to provide social services. Specific objectives: 1. Providing care in a family environment directed towards the realization of personal care, hygiene maintenance of the occupied dwelling, shopping, cooking, laundry and other communal general activities of persons, assistance in maintaining personal hygiene to the needy, which due to various limitations of a healthy nature, are excluded from social life and are at risk of dependence on institutional type of care. 2. Providing employment by creating new jobs in the social services sector, as well as providing an opportunity to relatives of the disadvantaged people to return to the labor market. Activities related to the implementation of the project: 1. Organization and management of the project. 2. Information and publicity of the project. 3. Need Assessment of the use of social services. 4. Selection of the users of social services "Personal Assistant" and "Domestic assistant". 5. Selection and ranking of the candidates for provision of social services. Signing contracts with the selected applicants. 6. Organization and performing of an introductory training of the service staff who has not passed an identical one. 7. Providing forms of social services "Personal Assistant" and "Domestic assistant".
