The project proposal is intended to improve the quality of life and access to services for social inclusion of people with disabilities and people over 65 with limited or unable to self-service in the municipality of Sliven through support and development of the existing Unit for social services at home to the Home Social Patronage. It will be implemented in partnership between the Municipality of Sliven and Crime Prevention Fund - IGA. The project will start with hiring a medical specialist to the Unit and employing 65 personal assistants. In second stage will be employed 40 new personal assistants and into the Unit will be hired one specialist "social activities".In the beginning of the project will be developed, by the partner, a program for the activities of the service. Experts of the partner will train the staff of the Unit and the social assistants - one introductory and two supporting trainings. The experts of the partner will carry out psychological support to the staff, counseling and supervision to improve the efficiency and quality of work. The candidate, in turn, will provide psychological and motivational support to service users through their specialists. The project will cover 240 users that will work at their homes or in the Unit. To promote the project activities are provided activities for information and publicity, including: 3 press conferences for representatives of media institutions and organizations interested in the topic and the management team of the project; 2 publications in a local newspaper; 2 pcs. of information boards; 45 pcs. of information posters; 90 pcs. books; 100 pcs. of information brochures and 2 radio announcement.
